Sitagliptin Phosphate Monohydrate (CAS: 654671-77-9), a new drug for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. In August 2009, the drug was approved by the European Union as a first-line drug for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. Sitagliptin Phosphate is the first FDA-approved dipeptidyl peptidase-IV inhibitor to be used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes by far, under the trade name Januvia. Dipeptidylpeptidase Ⅳ (DPP-Ⅳ) rapidly and effectively degrades GLP-1, GLP-1, which is the most effective stimulator of insulin production and secretion Therefore, inhibition of DPP-IV can enhance the role of endogenous GLP-1, thereby increasing blood insulin levels, thereby reducing and maintaining blood glucose levels in diabetic patients. At present, medicine has confirmed that DPP-IV inhibitor is a new type of anti-diabetic drug, and clinical results show that the drugs have a good hypoglycemic effect.
