Ethylferrocene (CAS: 1273-89-8) has been used as the precursor to synthesize the ferrocene derivatives, which are used as the burning-rate catalyst in AP-based composite solid propellants.
Ethylferrocene can be also used as the additive of civil liquid fuel to enhance combustion efficiency.
In addition, Ethylferrocene is used in the development of photosensitive GEMs with resistive electrodes manufactured via screen printing
