Application:

Diethylmethoxyborane (Methoxydiethylborane) (CAS: 7397-46-8) can be used as a reducing agent in organic synthesis, and its applications in asymmetric reduction, asymmetric catalytic coupling, and free radical reactions have been reported extensively. In addition, Diethylmethoxyborane can also be used as a non-corresponding selective reducing agent to reduce β-hydroxyl ketone to diol, which can be used in the synthesis of active drug, such as Rosuvastatin, Fluvastatin, etc.
