Nα-Cbz-L-Arginine (Z-Arg-OH) (CAS: 1234-35-1) is an arginine derivative, is mainly used in polypeptide synthesis. L-Arginine has a wide range of uses and functions. In the prior art, Cbz is used as a protecting group to protect L-Arginine. Cbz-L-Arginine is an important intermediate raw material for many kinds of medicine and biotechnology.
Z-amino acid, can be used in peptide synthesis, can be also used as an organic synthesis intermediate, pharmaceutical intermediate, biochemical reagent or chemical reagent.
Preparation 30.0g of sodium bicarbonate is suspended in 120 mL of water, 20.0g of arginine monohydrochloride is added, stirred, 20 mL of benzyloxycarbonyl chloride is added dropwise to the above system within 30 min, stirred for 8 h at room temperature, cooled and filtered at 4℃, diethyl ether and a small amount of cold water are washed and dried to obtain 26.4g of white powder, the yield is 90.2%.
