Phenothiazine (CAS: 92-84-2) is mainly used as an excellent polymer blocking agent of alkenyl monomer and widely used in the production of acrylates and methyl acrylate, acrylic acid, acrylic ester, and vinyl acetate. It is also used in the synthesis of pharmaceutical, dyestuff, polyether, antioxidant and rubber antiaging agent, auxiliary agent etc. Also used in livestock deworming medicine, fruit tree insecticide. Phenothiazine is also a class of agents exhibiting antiemetic, antipsychotic, antihistaminic, and anticholinergic activities. Phenothiazines are used to treat serious mental and emotional disorders, including schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders.
