N,N-Diethylethylenediamine (DEAEA) (CAS: 100-36-7) belongs to the class of ethylenamines. N,N-Diethylethylenediamine is mainly used as a building block for various active pharmaceutical ingredients.
Used as a pharmaceutical intermediate, and also used in organic synthesis.
N,N-Diethylethylenediamine is used as an intermediate of fine chemicals to produce antiarrhythmic drug procainamide, local anesthetics dibucarine hydrochloride and enzymolysin et al. It is also used for the production of adjuvant products, for example, for the preparation of a BCH.
N,N-Diethylethylenediamine was used in the oxidative amidation of hydrogen phosphonate diesters in the synthesis of oligonucleotides.

100-36-7 - Safety Profile:

Poison by intraperitoneal route. Moderately toxic by ingestion and skin contact. A slun and severe eye irritant. Flammable liquid when exposed to heat or flame; can react with oxidzing materials.
