Amylamine (CAS: 110-58-7) is used in organic synthesis. Amylamine is an important organic compound in the field of organic chemistry due to its versatile nature and reactivity.
Amylamine is used as a solvent, as a raw material in the manufacture of a variety of other compounds, including chemical intermediates, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, insecticides, emulsifiers, antioxidants, dyes, cosmetics, vulcanizing agent of the rubber and as a flavoring agent, and other industrial products.
Amylamine can be used as a building block in the synthesis of new pharmaceuticals.
Amylamine is a general reagent used in functionalizing the target molecules with pentyl chain. Amylamine has also been used as a cosurfactant to increase the phase stability of the bilayer systems.
