FAQ:

Application:

Allylamine (CAS: 107-11-9) is used as monomer in deposition of the allylamine plasma polymer. It was used in generation of a chemical gradient via plasma co-polymerization of octadiene and allylamine polymer on nanoporous alumina. Allylamine was used to investigate the surface reactivity of substrates coated with thin layers of plasma polymerized allylamine films. It was used in a direct monocarboxymethylation reaction. Allylamine is used to prepare the homopolymer (polyallylamine) or copolymers. The polymers are promising membranes for use in reverse osmosis.
