Trimethylene Sulfite (TMS) (CAS: 4176-55-0) is used as electrolyte additive for lithium secondary battery, which can improve the low temperature performance of electrolyte and prevent PC molecules from embedding into graphite electrode; Trimethylene Sulfite is used as high temperature additive for electrolytes in Lithium ion batteries. It improves the decomposition resistance of the electrolyte. Used in organic synthesis, pharmaceutical intermediates.
