It is mainly used as solvent, and can also be used for synthetic desulfurizer, rubber antioxidant, corrosion inhibitor, vulcanization accelerator, emulsifier, antistatic agent, plastic and textile chemical additives, boiler water treatment agent, metal corrosion inhibitor, latex coagulant, petroleum product additive, corrosion inhibitor, fungicide, pharmaceuticals, pesticide, insecticide and dye intermediate and so on. Cyclohexylamine is a useful as an intermediate in organic synthesis. It can be prepared by ammonolysis of cyclohexanol or hydrogenation of aniline at high temperature and pressure.
