Benzoyl Chloride (CAS: 98-88-4) is widely utilized for the synthesis of peroxides. Benzoyl Chloride is used in organic synthesis, used in the manufacturing of dye intermediates, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, herbicides, ultraviolet absorbers, rubber, resins, perfumes and plastic additives, etc. Benzoyl Chloride is an intermediate of the herbicide fenoxazone, as well as an intermediate of the insecticide benifenite and hydrazine. Used in synthesizing benzoyl peroxide, benzophenone, benzyl benzoate, benzylcellulose, benzamide, benzoic anhydride, and other derivatives. Used as analytical reagents.
