Significantly used as synthetic intermediates. 1H-Pyrazole-3-Boronic Acid can be used as a reactant in the Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reaction to synthesize pyrazole derivatives by reacting with different aryl halides over the palladium catalyst. Reactant for: Preparation of receiver-amplifier, self-immolative dendrimers as potential platform for self-triggered multiple-release prodrugs Preparation of bifunctional water-soluble triazole-containing derivatives of ethyl(hydroxycamptothecin) via click chemistry and conjugation to monoclonal antibodies for anticancer therapy Intermediate for synthesis of oligo(ethylene glycol)-terminated alkanethiol amides useful for biosensors. 1H-Pyrazole-3-Boronic Acid is a reagent used in the synthesis of HIV protease inhibitors. It is also an inhibitor of serine proteases, such as HIV protease and papain. 1H-Pyrazole-3-Boronic Acid can be modified with a variety of functional groups to produce a lead compound for drug development. The compound has two isomers: 1H and 3H. The 3H isomer is not commercially available, but it can be produced by diazotization of 1H. The cyclic structure of 1H-Pyrazole-3-Boronic Acid inhibits the protease activity by binding to the active site or by steric hindrance, which prevents substrate binding.
