Acetylacetone is an important intermediate for organic synthesis which is widely used in pharmaceutical intermediates, feed additives, perfume, pesticides and other industries. Acetylacetone is an important raw material in the pharmaceutical industry, such as for the synthesis of 4,6-dimethyl-pyrimidine derivatives. It can also be used as the additive for solvent of cellulose acetate, for gasoline and lubricating oil and binding material for electroplating, the drying agent for paints and varnishes, etc., and are also important analytical reagents.
