Uses: L-(-)-Malic Acid (CAS: 97-67-6) can be used as Intermediate in chemical synthesis; Chelating and buffering agent; Flavoring agent, flavor enhancer and acidulant in foods.

L-(-)-Malic Acid (CAS: 97-67-6) Mainly used as sour agent for food and beverage, especially for jelly and fruit-based food and beverage. It has the function of maintaining the color of natural fruit juice. It is also widely used in dairy beverage, ice cream and other food processing.
