PdCl2 is a common starting material in palladium chemistry - palladium-based catalysts are of particular value in organic synthesis. It is prepared by the reaction of ch lorine with palladium metal at high temperatures.
Mainly used in the manufacture of special products catalyst, molecular sieve, preparation of non-conductor material coating with surface activator, the production of gas sensitive components.
Palladium(II) Chloride is used as analytical reagents, such as the determination of trace palladium, thallium, iodine, etc. Palladium(II) Chloride test paper for test.
