Isopropyl p-Toluenesulfonate, also known as Isopropyl 4-Methylbenzenesulfonate or Isopropyl p-Tosylate, (CAS 618-89-3) is a sulfonic acid ester, a potentialy alkylating agent. Studies suggest Isopropyl p-Toluenesulfonate may exert genotoxic effects in bacterial and mammalian cell systems. Isopropyl p-Toluenesulfonate is  also a sulfur compound for proteomics research.
