3,4,5-Trimethoxyphenylacetic Acid (CAS: 951-82-6) can be used as an intermediate of Mivacurium Chloride (CAS: 106861-44-3) or Vecuronium Bromide (CAS: 50700-72-6). Mivacurium Chloride is an intravenously administered, short-acting skeletal muscle relaxant introduced as an adjunct to general anesthesia. Vecuronium Bromide is a drug which can be supplied to general anesthesia to keep skeletal muscle relaxation during the surgery or mechanical ventilation. 3,4,5-Trimethoxyphenylacetic Acid is also a reagent in the preparation of 3-phenylcoumarins as antidepressant agents.
